Eating salads, not telling you to become a vegan, but get some salad in your system. Could be Fruit Salad, Garden Salad, something. Smoothies made with real fruits is a great thing to add to your eating. Cut back on how much you eat in one sitting.
Every time my mom shares my dinner, i literally leave almost half of it. She shares way too much for me and it makes me feel like im force feeding so i save it and eat it later instead of snacking on junk food.

I have replaced all my plates/bowls with smaller ones. Which has helped a lot with eating smaller portions cause you cant fit a lot on them.
I have cut down my sugar. even went a month without any. It helped a lot cause it made fruit taste sweeter. I also try to avoid things that have corn syrup and fake sugar because its not necessarily better for you.
I don't really eat to loss weight but to be healthier. So sorry if this isn't helpful to some people.
Is there a place to share healthy recipes? I have a few that I enjoy.

For exercise, I recommend trying a bit of Zumba It combines dancing with exercise, which makes exercise a lot more fun!! There are videos you can buy and stuff, but if you don't want to do that, there are "some" videos on youtube, I recommend FierceFxFitness, they are quite good, after practice when you know the routine and feels like its doing more If anything its certainly toned my arms

The thoughts-of-eating diet, which causes you to eat less. Tried it, dunno if I've lost any weight tbh, don't have a weight mcbobber ahaha I sound a tad dumb, but, yeah. And the wearing a blindfold over your eyes, helps you eat less, and your stomach is your guide apparently. And definitely got tons of recipes, smoothie-wise, food-wise, snack-wise, TONSSS. But I guess that's all I can offer, aha. x)

I have to agree with the salads and limit on sugar idea. My family has started to try and eat better so we always have a salad with our dinner and when we shop we try and look at the label to see what the ingredients are. Another good idea is to cut down on sodas (even diet) and to drink more water. That's all I have for now but when I think of anything else I update. oh and also you can eat better but it won't help if you don't have some sort of regular exercise routine.

I've cut back on the meats I eat, chicken, pork, ham all that. I've been doing that for about a week and a half and I've lost 4 pounds already! And if I want a sandwich I only use one piece of bread now cause it cuts back on what I put on it!

I found this site where you can see how many calories a certain activity burns, it's pretty useful. You can choose from cleaning to weigh lifting and from fishing to rock climbing. I don't reallt count calories, I don't think anyone does, though it can give you a general sight on how fast you burn calories by doing something. www.prohealth.com/weightloss/tools/exercise/calculator1_2.cfm?emptyfield=activity

Oh also I'm pretty sure most people already know this but I figured I'd share anyway: When you're hungry, first try drinking something. Somethimes we are just thirsty, but our brain tells us we're hungry. And I, personally, tend to eat a lot when I'm bored. So now, whenever I'm feeling bored and find myself searching for a snack, I go out for a walk around the block. Hope this helps, keep it up everyone

I've never been on a strict diet, or anything. Just...my main concern is eating too many snacks. So i actually TRY to eat more during meals so that i won't get hungry later and want to eat. My meals i have are normally pretty healthy, since my dad makes most of it and it's pretty...non fattening. haha. I realize another way i stop myself from eating snacks (and this is really random) I realized on days i have after school clubs, i don't have access to snacks so i don't eat anything and by the time i get home it's just like half an hour to an hour before dinner, so i can refrain from eating snacks. Really random tips, but i hope they help.
